Moya Matcha Culinary comes from the third, and final, harvest of leaves from tea bushes, which ripen under special covers that protect them from the sun. This is what gives the leaves destined for matcha a higher chlorophyll and theanine content, and gives them an intense green color. When they ripen, they are harvested, gently dried and ground into a fine powder. Moya Matcha Culinary is characterized by a distinct flavor with a very strong bitterness.

Confectioners and chefs around the world value matcha for its flavorful qualities that add finesse to dishes. In turn, its intense green color enhances elegant cakes, adds freshness to traditional cakes and works well even in dry sauces such as mayonnaise. It's worth remembering that the better the quality of matcha used in cooking, the greater its performance as well.

It can be added to all lemonades and drinks, where matcha acts as an additive rather than the main ingredient in the recipe.  Due to its high bitterness, it is not recommended for drinking with water alone.
