This syrup is a non-alcoholic base for mulled wine. The idea for it comes from Sweden, where vineyards are not as popular as they are in the south. To obtain a similar taste to mulled wine without addition of alcohol, several fruits were introduced: chokeberry, plums, oranges, all coated with winter spices. These ingredients mixed in a perfect ration give ready-to-serve mulled wine drink, but alcohol-free. Just add boiling water and stir, that is all it takes. Enjoy!
