Las Aguilas originates from the municipality of La Argentina in the Huila region, renowned for its stunning landscapes and exceptional coffee-growing conditions. The lush, hilly terrain, fertile soil, and the influence of the nearby Andes create the perfect environment for producing high-quality coffee beans. Located in southwestern Colombia, Huila is one of the country’s key coffee regions, featuring diverse landscapes ranging from glaciers and volcanoes to expansive valleys, including the one traversed by Colombia’s longest river, the Magdalena.
The coffee we’ve selected is the Chiroso variety—a relatively young but highly valued cultivar known for its unique flavor profile. This variety’s story began in the 1990s in the Antioquia region, where it gained recognition for its complex aromas and refined character.
