This tea is eagerly sipped throughout China, and its popularity has led to teas named Long Jing being produced today in various Chinese provinces, and even in Taiwan and India. However, it is often said in China that true Long Jing must come from Zhejiang province, from the area around Hangzhou. This huge city is home to the famous West Lake. This tea can be found in almost every price range - even in Poland, you can buy it for anywhere from a few dozen to several hundred zlotys per 100g.
So, what is so special about it? In reality... a great deal. We plan to write a comprehensive article about this tea soon, but in practice, it is enough to simply try it. Our Dragon Well fully captures the characteristics of good quality tea of this type - the distinctive nutty taste, the sweetness of the infusion, and the floral aroma of the leaves. Long Jing is simply a must-try.
We managed to find a great source of this tea, allowing us to offer really high quality at a very good price. The leaves of our Long Jing are characteristically shiny in yellow-green shades. They are not overly grown and are almost entirely intact. And most importantly, they smell and taste wonderful!
