Perhaps you are wondering why exactly a handful of leaves are named Golden Monkey? The secret lies, as always, in the combination of Chinese imagination and the tea’s appearance. Fine, supple black-golden leaves are covered in a thick fluff that is somewhat reminiscent of little furry animals.

5g tea / 250ml water / 90°C temp.

Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Leave in the fridge for 12 hours and stir well
