The history of this mix begins 800 years ago, when China was ruled by the Song Dynasty, whose members loved the taste of tea flavored with jasmine flowers. Jasmine itself was brought to China from Persia in the 3rd century AD, but it was not until the 5th century that the amazing properties of this plant were noticed and people tried to combine it with the local tea.
