The new Tea of the Month is here! Earl Gray tea from HAYB. Classic Ceylon tea with aromatic bergamot oil, no artificial flavors.

Where did the name "earl gray" come from? There are two theories on this subject. The first one says that the tea owes its name to Count Gray, who was to receive it as a thank you for saving the drowning son of Mandarin. The second theory, about the origin of the name Earl Gray, had its origin in cargo ships going to England. During the long journey, the green tea crates got wet, the tea began to ferment (green tea began to turn black naturally), with an unpleasant odor as a side effect. In order not to waste quite a valuable commodity, bergamot oil was added to it.

Ingredients: Ceylon leaf tea, bergamot oil.
May contain traces of nuts.
