He receives both wet and dry parchment and operates a mechanical dryer on site. When parchment is delivered, he checks the quality, weighs the bag, and agrees on a price. He then pays the farmer immediately in cash and provides a new empty bag for refilling. Joseel has been working with Racafe for over 23 years and sells exclusively to Luis Fernando, Racafe’s manager in Bogotá. Each delivery consists of approximately 10,000–13,000 kg of coffee.Due to climate change, production has dropped dramatically in recent years, making it even more important to increase revenue despite lower yields. Coffee production in Viani has decreased by 50% compared to two years ago. Rainfall has nearly doubled, with rain occurring almost every day during the season. While rain is essential for plant growth, coffee trees require 2–3 weeks of consistent sunshine without rainfall. This is possible thanks to the Amazing Shut-off System, which dispenses coffee from the dripper only after placing it on the vessel.
Clever Dripper is made of tritan (Eastman Tritan) - a durable, heat-resistant and food-safe copolyester. The ergonomic handle allows you to safely carry the dripper with hot contents.
