Doubleshot




Doubleshot is a double espresso, but in this case it means a double dose of coffee love expressed by two coffee enthusiasts. The whole adventure began in 2009, when one of the founders started coffee roasting training, while the other was acquiring knowledge on coffee farms in Central America. As a result, in 2010, Doubleshot coffee roasting company was launched in Prague. After dynamic development in recent years, it became a project that includes not only a roastery, but also 3 cafes, a training centre, a bakery and, above all, a team of specialty coffee lovers. Doubleshot is a respected brand in the coffee world. The offer includes only specialty beans roasted in a 60-year-old Probat roaster.

W smaku wyczuwalne są nuty dżemu truskawkowego, ziaren kakaowca i czerwonego wina. Kraj pochodzenia kawy: Boliwia Farma: Alasitas Metoda obróbki: Coco Natural Odmiana: Arabica Caturra Ta kawa pochodzi z farmy Las Alasitas, położonej na wysokości 1600 m n.p.m. Farma jest prowadzona przez rodzinę Rodriguez. Ich firma Agricafe stara się wspierać temat uprawy kawy speciality w kraju. Wspierają wiele okolicznych farm, aby zastąpić uprawy koki. Farma Alasitas jest dość młoda. Rodzina kupiła 20 ha ziemi w 2014 roku w regionie Caranavi, gdzie zbudowali stację przetwórczą i nowoczesną farmę. Uprawiają odmiany caturra, java i geisha. To ziarno odmiany caturra zostało przetworzone przy użyciu specjalnego procesu suszenia zwanego Coco Natural. Całe wiśnie są najpierw kładzione na afrykańskie łóżka i suszone bezpośrednio na słońcu przez 5 dni. Następnie są umieszczane w ogromnych otwartych kontenerach i suszone w temperaturze 40°C przez 20 dni. Wspomniane kontenery mają specjalną konstrukcję. Ciepło pochodzi z dużych palników gazowych, a wiśnie są regularnie przewracane, aby uzyskać równomierne suszenie. Ostateczny profil smakowy jest określany przez ilość wiśni umieszczonych w kontenerze i częstotliwość ich przewracania.
