Cerapotta - Ceramic Dripper 1-4 Cups
Manufacturer: CERAPOTTA
Cerapotta is a Japanese pour-over coffee dripper. Thanks to the material used, the dripper is lightweight, solid, and does not require the use of disposable paper filters. Cerapotta is suitable for brewing one or multiple servings of coffee.
This Japanese gadget allows you to extract the best from your coffee in a simple yet elegant way. The pour-over method provides plenty of fun and the opportunity to experiment with coffee. Surprise your friends with rich coffee flavors and aromas, as well as the technique of its preparation!
CONSTRUCTION
The Cerapotta dripper is made of lightweight, permeable ceramics. The pores in the dripper's structure are not visible - they are 5 μm wide, which is less than a human hair. There is no need to use additional filters, and the brew is clean, free of fines, and full of flavour. The dripper's base is made of plastic.
Hasami porcelain has been produced in Nagasaki, Japan, for 400 years. Cerapotta combines traditional techniques with new technological achievements. Forming, drying, and firing are still carried out by craftsmen, just as they were in the past. The texture of the ceramic, its simplicity, and the sound of coffee flowing from the filter perfectly match Japanese aesthetics.
Dimensions: 10 cm (diameter) x 11 cm (height). The diameter of the base is 10 cm.
BREWING METHOD
To prepare excellent coffee, you will need freshly ground high-quality coffee, your favorite cup or server, and a scale. Place the dripper on a serving vessel and pour ground coffee into it, then gradually pour water over it. Brewing takes only 3 - 4 minutes. For best results, it is recommended to use medium/coarse ground coffee at a ratio of 6 grams per 100 ml of water.
MAINTENANCE
One of the advantages of this berwer is also its extremely easy maintenance. After use, simply rinse the dripper under running water - there is no need, and it is even not recommended to use detergents. After some time, the permeability of the dripper may decrease. To restore its original properties, immerse the dripper in boiling water for 10 minutes.
