Aeropress Movie is a short documentary produced by European Coffee Trip that reveals a story of the AeroPress —from its inventor’s workshop in California to the stages of AeroPress Championships around the world. It explores what makes people so excited about this odd looking yet iconic coffee maker.

An Incredible Story of the AeroPress
In 2005, Alan Adler invented and put the AeroPress Coffee Maker on the market. He made it out ofnecessity since there was no coffee maker producing a great single cup of coffee. So he made one.
After 20 years of selling his first popular invention — Aerobie Flying Ring — he and the companydecided to dive into the unexplored world of coffee. Fast forward to 2017, millions of AeroPresses have been sold, people are brewing coffee on the tops of mountains, on beaches, in forests as well as in their kitchens and offices.
It enables people to be creative and invent their own ways of brewing coffee. What a better proof than the World AeroPress Championship with over 3000 coffee lovers competing to find the best AeroPress recipe of the year.
Interviewing Coffee Lovers Around The World
The documentary will take you to Oslo, Norway, Seoul, South Korea, Palo Alto, USA and many more places where interviews with the inventors, coffee professionals and coffee lovers will be conducted. The list of coffee people to interview includes Alan Adler, Tim Wendelboe, Tim Varney, Tim Williams, Jeff Verellen or Michal Molčan. The goal is to finish the documentary by Autumn 2018 so it can be premiered during the World AeroPress Championship 2018
