The Gen 2 Brew Burrs are capable of grinding as fine as 250 microns, while the Standard Brew Burrs that come stock in the original Ode Brew Grinder can grind as fine as 500 microns.Anti-static technology, which helps to reduce the static from freshly ground coffee. COFFEE PLANT - Burundi Nemba Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 28.04.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee beans from Burundi, roasted by COFFEE PLANT from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of blackberry, black currant, caramel and citrus fruits.Origin: BurundiRegion: KayanzaFarm: Nemba Washing StationProcessing: NaturalVariety: Red BourbonAltitude: 1700 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMThe Nemba station is located in northern Burundi, in the Kayanza province. Its operations are overseen by an agronomist responsible for implementing good agricultural practices and educating producers. The agronomist works directly with the farmers, assisting them in gaining access to tools and selecting cultivation methods best suited to the conditions of their local plots. The station collaborates with 1,074 smallholder producers, each of whom owns an average of about 150 coffee trees. The plantations are situated at altitudes above 1,700 meters above sea level, near the Kibira forest, which favors obtaining high-quality raw material. The station itself has over 200 drying beds and can process up to 750 tons of coffee cherries annually. The entire process — from cultivation to processing — is covered by a monitoring system that ensures full traceability.Nemba is also engaged in the development of local communities, implementing projects that support farmers, including animal husbandry, strengthening cooperative structures, and improving crop yield.ROASTER'S OPINIONNemba is a washing station whose coffees we are always very keen to reach for. Located in the Kayanza region, it has been famous for years for Red Bourbon lots from local farmers, which stand out due to their natural, high sweetness, often balanced by caramel and fruit accents. These are profiles with low to medium acidity and a medium to high, pleasantly sticky body.In the case of this specific lot from the current harvest, the character remains very consistent with what we usually expect from Nemba. The aroma is dominated by berries, caramel, and citrus — above all lemon, which gives the whole profile freshness and lightness. In the flavor, distinct blackcurrant, juicy blueberries, and again lemon and sweet caramel appear, building a harmonious, well-balanced structure. The body is medium, but distinctly sticky and oily, which adds fullness and depth to the coffee. The aftertaste remains long, caramelly, and pleasantly sweet, while the acidity is low, smooth, and perfectly highlights the high natural sweetness.RECIPEUse your favorite AeroPress recipe. In our opinion, this coffee comes out most interesting when brewed specifically in an AeroPress!Store in a cool and dry place.

This word means a small coffee processing station. The Gutiérrez family has combined 14 hectares of coffee farms with a facility for preparing the beans for export. This way, nothing limits them in experimenting and creating a wide variety of microlots. The idea behind the Gutiérrez family's business is based on planting rare varieties such as Geisha or SL28 on the farm and then processing them into separate lots. The small scale makes it possible to focus on the highest possible quality. Manual harvesting, precise monitoring of fermentation conditions, and bean drying make the Gutiérrez family's coffees reach the highest level of specialty. In the bag, you will find our favorite type of coffee experiment. The Kenyan SL28 variety grown in Costa Rica. We have already had such coffees from our favorite Hacienda Sonora, and now it is time for Ivan Gutiérrez, who – in our humble opinion – has raised the stakes. This coffee is perfectly prepared. Roasting date: 08.06.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by Kaizen. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of jasmine, apricot and orange.Country: EthiopiaRegion: GujiFarm: Tagel AlamayehuVarietal: 74110Processing: WashedAltitude: 2300 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE REGION AND PRODUCERThis coffee comes from the Guji region, specifically the Hambela Wamena area, situated at an altitude of approximately 2300 m a.s.l. This is one of Ethiopia's most esteemed terroirs—the extreme altitude, cool climate, and slow ripening of the fruit result in a high sugar concentration and extraordinary aromatic precision. The project is led by Tagel Alamayehu—owner of the Olkai export company and coordinator of the Hambela Goro station. His story is personal and deeply rooted in the region. Tagel’s father was one of the coffee pioneers in Guji and built the first washing station in the Bule Hora community. Following family financial struggles, Tagel set a goal to rebuild what was lost—and he realized this plan by creating a modern, quality-focused project based on collaboration with local farmers.Today, Hambela Goro works with 460 small-scale producers, many of whom own only a few hundred coffee trees. Although each batch is a natural composition of many micro-plots, the coffee maintains impressive consistency and a clean profile.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis lot is the 74110 variety—a selection originating from the JARC research program, known for its high sensory quality and clarity in the cup. Combined with the altitude of 2300 m a.s.l., it yields a coffee with a distinct structure, elegant acidity, and multi-layered aromatics. The washed processing was carried out with great precision. Cherries are harvested at peak ripeness, hand-sorted multiple times, and then, after depulping, fermented in water for approximately 48 hours. Drying takes place on African beds for 10–12 days, depending on weather conditions. The cup is dominated by an intense jasmine aroma, which builds lightness and elegance. The flavor features juicy orange, providing freshness and a clear, citric acidity, while the experience is rounded off by ripe, sweet apricot, bringing softness and fruity depth.Store in a cold and dry space.

From other continents too, but at this moment – from Africa the most. Warmth, sunshine, nothing left to do but sip these juicy coffees day after day. These beans come from the Iloma AMCOS cooperative in the Songwe region of Tanzania. 391 farmers deliver coffee to this cooperative. They cultivate coffee at an altitude between 1800 and 1900 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soils. The cherries are processed using the washed method – after harvesting, they go straight to the station, where they spend about 24 hours in water, and then dry for 11–14 days.In the cup, the coffee is like juice. Notes of redcurrants and lemongrass. Coffee first appeared in the territories of modern-day Tanzania in the 16th century, initially in the Bukoba region, where local varieties were grown even before the colonial period. Currently, Tanzania produces an average of about 50–70 thousand tons of coffee per year, mostly Arabica.I am no coffee prophet, but I have a hot take that Tanzania is the new Kenya. What do you think?Store in a dry and cool place.

Kaizen - Costa Rica Vista Al Chirripo Anaerobic Natural Espresso 250 g

Manufacturer: KAIZEN

Roasting date: 08.06.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica, roasted by the Polish roastery Kaizen. Dark roast, ideal for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you’ll find tasting notes of praline, cherry and dried plum.Country of origin: Costa RicaRegion: Chirripo, BruncaVariety: CaturraFarm: Vista al ChirripoProcessing method: Anaerobic NaturalAltitude: 1300 - 2000 m a.s.l.Costa Rica Vista al Chirripo EspressoSpecialty coffee from Costa Rica with notes of praline, cherry, and prune. Medium roasted specialty coffee Christmas Coffee Costa Rica Vista al Chirripo. This coffee is perfectly suited for all pressure brewing methods, such as an espresso machine or a moka pot.ABOUT THE PLANTATIONThe coffee comes from the Chirripó micro-region in the southern part of Costa Rica, where the Ureña Rojas family runs their farms. This is one of the most consistently developing coffee projects in the region — the family micromill Café Rivense, founded in 2005 by Régulo Ureña and Isabel Rojas, and today managed together with their sons: Ricardo, Mario, Esteban, and Luis. The Vista al Chirripó plantation is located at an altitude of up to ~2000 m a.s.l., overlooking the highest peak in Costa Rica — Cerro Chirripó. It was from this very plantation that the lots which took 5th place in the 2019 Cup of Excellence originated — it is one of the most esteemed terroirs in the entire country. The farm focuses on biodiversity, complete self-sufficiency, and minimal water consumption, and the entire production — from harvesting, through processing, to export — is carried out entirely by the family themselves, without intermediaries.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis is an exceptional lot of the Caturra variety, subjected to anaerobic fermentation and dried in the cherry. This process highlights the juicy fruitiness and deep sweetness, creating a profile full of cherry, prune, and praline creaminess. The cup is smooth, elegant, with a long, sweet finish — perfect as a unique dessert espresso. The cherries are selectively hand-picked and then undergo anaerobic fermentation, where they remain in controlled conditions without access to oxygen. This gives the coffee a deeper color, richness, and dessert character. Afterwards, the cherries are dried naturally to concentrate the sweetness and aroma. The result? An intense, juicy, velvety coffee with a beautifully developed acidity of stone fruits.Store in a dry and cool place.

It’s Team Pegasing again!”.Waves of joy crash against my little coffee heart then. These coffees have been with us at HAYB almost from the very beginning. Every time, they seduce with their juiciness, sweetness, and complex flavor profile. They have appeared in our offer in various processing methods—the one you have in front of you is a natural. Specialty-grade whole bean coffee from Mexico, roasted by the Warsaw-based roastery HAYB. Light roast, ideal for filter coffee makers, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other alternative brewing methods. The flavor profile features notes of red apple, orange and toffi.Country of origin: MexicoRegion: Huatusco, VeracruzVariety: Marsellesa Processing method: WashedCupping score: 86/ 100Altitude: 1300 m a.s.l. A truly competitive profileA handshake separates me from this farm. The La Esperanza farm was established in 1946. 80 years ago, the first coffee trees in the state of Veracruz were planted by Don Antonio Rincon and Dona Lucia Garcia. The history of the Rincon family took off for good in 1970, thanks to the division of the family estate in the name of peace of mind and better organization. Emmanuel Rincon turned out to be a real game changer, turning the processing method upside down. Instead of sticking to schemes, he focused on bold experiments with fermentation and exchanging experiences with producers from all over the world. In 2018, Emmanuel joined forces with Andreas, whose hand I shook in 2022 when he was showing me what farms in Mexico look like. With Exportadora de Café California, moving to a pro level, he combined the fight for the highest quality with care for the ecosystem and soil regeneration. The effect? Since 2019, the beans from La Esperanza have represented a purely competitive profile. Emmanuel obsessively looks for clarity, complexity, and that perfect balance between body, acidity, and sweetness in the brew.Store in a cold and dry space.

Light roast, perfect for filter brewing—drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, automatic brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of chocolate, hazelnut, and dried plum.Country of origin: BrazilRegion: MogianaVariety: Mundo NovoProcessing method: NaturalElevation: 790–940 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMThis coffee comes from Fazenda Matão, located in the Mococa (Mogiana) region in the northern part of São Paulo state. The farm lies at an altitude of 790–940 meters above sea level, surrounded by green hills and natural reserves. It is a family-owned estate dating back to the 1960s. The current owner, Marco Antonio Guardabaxo, together with farm manager Marciano de Jesus, continues to develop the plantation by implementing modern and sustainable practices.Families of the workers live on the farm, and coffee cultivation is an integral part of the local community. The farm is environmentally responsible — among other initiatives, it uses a drip irrigation system that reduces water consumption and ensures even cherry development.PROCESSINGThis lot was processed using the natural method. After harvest, the cherries are dried on large concrete patios for 10–20 days and then further stabilized in wooden silos for several weeks. It is this slow fermentation process inside the fruit that gives the coffee its density, creaminess, and deep sweetness.Store in a cold and dry space.

COFFEE PLANT - Kenya Tegu Fully Washed Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 05.06.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted by Coffee Plant. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of tomato, caramel, peach and currants.Origin: KenyaRegion: NyeriProcessing:  Fully washedVariety: SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11Altitude: 1700 m a.s.lABOUT THE COFFEETomato notes take center stage in the aroma, reminiscent of tomato leaves – distinct and very characteristic. They are accompanied by sweet caramel and slightly underripe peach. The flavor profile is even more complex – the tomato character combines with notes of redcurrant, peach, and caramel. The coffee has a high, almost sparkling acidity associated with currants and a clear, slightly umami character that creates its dry twist. The body is high and smooth, and the aftertaste is long and fruity, with a delicate, dry accent. This is a direction you will also see in subsequent coffees from Kenya from this year's harvest.ROASTER'S OPINIONAt the Tegu washing station, the coffee undergoes multi-stage wet processing characteristic of Kenya. After initial selection, the cherries go to the first fermentation stage, which lasts about 24 hours. They are then washed and moved to another fermentation tank. After the pulp is removed, the beans go into washing channels where lighter beans (so-called floaters) are separated, and the heavier ones are thoroughly cleaned of the sticky layer surrounding the bean (mucilage). The next stage is soaking the beans again for about 24 hours. This process promotes the development of amino acids and proteins, which translates into higher acidity and greater complexity of the fruity profile – a key element of Kenyan coffees. Finally, the beans are spread in a thin layer on African beds, where they initially lose some moisture quickly, and are then regularly turned and dried until they reach about 11% moisture. After drying, the coffee is hulled, packed, and undergoes a short stabilization stage before export.RECIPEThis coffee responds well to the brewing method – you can emphasize its juicy, currant acidity or bring out its more savory, tomato-like character. In a V60, it is at its most juicy and distinct – redcurrant, peach, and high, sparkling acidity. In an Origami, the profile balances out, and the tomato twist becomes more legible. In an AeroPress, the coffee is smoother and fuller, with a more pronounced umami character.Lower temperatures emphasize freshness and fruit, while higher temperatures bring out depth and strengthen the savory profile. A coarser grind provides more lightness and acidity, while a finer grind yields more body and umami. We recommend a medium-coarse grind (25 clicks on a Comandante) and a drip brewing method – such as the Origami – with a dose of 17 g per 240 ml of water.Using water at 95°C, pour according to the following timeline:0:30 – 50 ml , 0:50 – 110 ml , 1:15 – 200 ml , 2:40 – 240 mlGently stir at the end.Store in a cold and dry space.
